OK they look like some sort of baby shrooms.The ones i reqularly see are white and brown on the top .These are kinda harry and are dark brown with darker brown on the top.????Any Ideas

maybe an unopened bird's nest fungi or something along those lines? i don't know if that's manure, but i've seen bird nest fungi in manure as well as wood and potting soil.

Hrm... the "hairy" discription makes me think they may be a spcies of Coprinus. Does the hair like stuff brush off if you touch them?
