It's only good for keeping in touch with long lost friends, period.

Hahaha  My first message on Myspace was from a supposed seminary student who had massive breast implants and who was looking to have some no-strings-attached fun.  All I had to do was click on her webcam link and give my credit card number.

Another thing that bothers me about Myspace; when you meet someone briefly in real life and then they request you as a friend. Then you never talk to that person again. So, you have this "not really a friend" friend on your friend's list. What happens if one of you deletes the other? Will there be hurt feelings? Will you glare at each other if you pass in the street one day?

It's a backward ass alternate universe that was intriguing at first, but ultimately not a step in the right direction for technology. The idea was great, and it is being modified correctly, but jesus, I had to get off of that thing. It was sucking up useless time, and causing nothing but strife in my relationship at the time.

Not to mention all the pedophiles on that thing you read about in the news.

I kept getting nasty girls who wanted me on their friend's lists and then they would write, "You look cute...I want to know more". For the hell of it I started sending messages to them like, "Would you be interested in some no-strings attached fun at a motel". Every single one of them deleted me off of their friend's list.
