how do you guys do that? do you juts find profiles you like, and click the "instant message" button and just start talkin?

and how do you find people who are online... i went to "browse" and did the category thing to find people near me and had it organized by "last loggin", but whos actually online is kinda dispersed

There are actually a few cool people on myspace... the cool thing about it is that people who I kind of just barely knew have become actual friends.

It's not like myspace will magically get you laid either. Girls won't find you any more interesting or attractive just because you're using a popular website. There's no secret "hook up code" or anything, just talk to them.

some girls wont add you as a friend unless you message them first.

I usually hit 'add to friends' if I see something I like, and if she doesn't put me on her friends list I forget about it. But if she does put me on her friends list I'll start chattin it up.

also, you can filter your search in the 'browse' section to include only females between the ages of 18-25 who are single and less than 10 miles from your zip code. Makes things a lot easier.

yeah, just ike they complain about random dudes hitting on them at bars. But if its a guy they like, then thats OK. But you don't know unless you try. If you're going to send a random message to someone, you have to not come across as a creep.

I've had a bunch of different girls randomly send me messages as well, so I guess just try to make yourself look good in your profile and that'll increase your odds.

OK here is what you should do. First make yourself a descent looking profile, girls want something interesting to read and look at. You know, make a profile that will catch their attention when they look you up.

Now your ready to look for someone your interested in. Do searches using criteria you select. Try a bunch of different things, their are a lot of interesting girls on myspace (as well as not so interesting :smile:. When you find someone your interested in, read her profile, get to know her a bit before you message her (you can read most profiles in about 5 minutes or less). Now you have an idea of who she is, what she likes, etc. So now you need to send her a message. Send a normal message, they don't need to be online, they'll get it whenever they sign on. Just make sure you look through profiles of people who have been on within the last few days to make sure they're active.

Anyways, send them a simple message. Use things that you read about her on her profile to ask her questions about herself. Maybe e you find something she likes or does that you also enjoy and could bring it up. I dunno whatever your style is. But girls hate random messages that say "I saw your profile and think your good looking." You need to message them about something personal, that way you don't come of as "the average guy" who is only looking for a myspace hook up. But you don't want to ask something too personal either.

If they reply, carry on the conversation and add her to your list. Once she joins you for convo., she will def put you on her list and plus you will be up there above all the random guys on her list who were just random myspace friends. Now you have the advantage of catching her attention through conversation.

Hell yea myspace is for people without a voice. Its like people want you to read all about them and demolish the real getting to know each other part. If you judge someone by the bullshit they say the dolike on myspace, then you fall for peoples shit too easliy. They usually forget to mention the dance around their house in their shitstained underwear and what not. Im just kidding, i just think Myspace is THE FAKEST THING EVER CREATED.
The only thing ive ever found useful about myspace is ive found a few ghetto kids with ghetto profiles to sell me some buds from a nearby town (but it was ghetto bud too just like i should've expected from a kids who calls himself "Honesdale's (farming town near me) Numba one stunna".

Youre not gonna meet a girl any easier on the computer then going out and meeting them. Maybe if you talk to them for a little bit online, like an hour should be good, and invite em out on a real date soon after, you'll have a better chance then blabbing on AOL. Wanna know why, women love assholes and i cant express the sarcasm they love to hear online. ONLY KIDDING, i just mean its harder to make jokes funny and use facial expressions and diff tones of voice, anything that makes you more interesting (maybe thats what you gotta practice more, being comfortable and outgoing around women). They love when youre honest w/them, so if theyre hot, they know they are, its not something you should refrain from telling them. Plus you dont want a chat buddy, you want a fuck buddy. But seriously, 99.9% of people who use myspace, or their profile are fake or just a way to make themselves seem cool w/cheap animations and gay links and "love (aka slut) purity tests" and "what type of alcohalic beverage test". Haha, be careful dont fall in love with someones profile like a lot of my wierd friends try to, unless the bitch is that hot cuz its hard to listen to what hot girls say anyway so at least you have myspace to go by when trying to make convo w/hot girls when its not quite time to go down their pants yet.
