Drying And Preserving?

What is some of the best methonds of drying and preseving mushrooms?

Is a drying agent neccisary?

What i have done is put them on to sum paper towels and put into a trash bag? is this sufficent to keep the magic in for a week or 2?

fan dry for 2 days then place in a dessicant chamber...

Do a search and you will find specifics...this question gets asked almost everyday so youll prolly find a lot on it.

Baby, I Heard if you cut up the shroom nice and thin, and place on a wire mesh screen, so air can circulate on both sides, shrooms will dry pretty quickly. Dessicant makes a soupy , smelly mess, A fan can be good, but when they get real crispy, they can fly away! So place in a deep tray/bowl.

Also, placing on a tray in a brown paper bag, in the fridge will do- Leaving shrooms out to air dry in humid weather will slow you down/possible contams.
So fridge is good for summer harvests
Or so I heard.
