U.S. funds Terrorism
    #6983999 -

Recent revelations illustrating the fact that the U.S. government is using a Sunni Al-Qaeda terrorist group formerly headed by the alleged mastermind of 9/11 to carry out bombings in Iran undermines the entire war on terror as a monumental hoax that is being exploited purely to realize a geopolitical agenda.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml;jsessionid=E3KMWW5VVIXZNQFIQMFSFF4AVCBQ0IV0?xml=/news/2007/05/27/wiran27.xml

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jundullah

The group has been blamed for a number of bombings inside Iran aimed at destabilizing Ahmadinejad's government and is also active in Pakistan, having been fingered for its involvement in attacks on police stations and car bombings at the Pakistan-US Cultural Center in 2004.

The U.S. government is arming and directing a Sunni Al-Qaeda group to carry out bombings in Iran and yet Bush has the temerity to grandstand during his Rose Garden speech last week and wave the Al-Qaeda bogeyman to strike the fear of God into American citizens.

"As to al Qaeda in Iraq, al Qaeda is going to fight us wherever we are. That's their strategy. Their strategy is to drive us out of the Middle East. They have made it abundantly clear what they want. They want to establish a caliphate. They want to spread their ideology. They want safe haven from which to launch attacks. They're willing to kill the innocent to achieve their objectives, and they will fight us. And the fundamental question is, will we fight them? I have made the decision to do so. I believe that the best way to protect us in this war on terror is to fight them," Bush said on Thursday.

Mr Bush has signed an official document endorsing CIA plans for a propaganda and disinformation campaign intended to destabilise, and eventually topple, the theocratic rule of the mullahs.

Under the plan, pressure will be brought to bear on the Iranian economy by manipulating the country's currency and international financial transactions.

Details have also emerged of a covert scheme to sabotage the Iranian nuclear programme, which United Nations nuclear watchdogs said last week could lead to a bomb within three years.

Quote:
On April 3, 2007, ABC News reported that the United States government had been secretly encouraging and advising Jundullah in its attacks against Iranian targets. This support is said to have started in 2005 and has been arranged so that the United States provides no direct funding to the group, which would require congressional oversight and attract media attention.[2][3] Fars News Agency reports that the United States government is involved in Jundullah terrorists acts.[4] On April 2, 2007, Abdul Malik Rigi, the head of the Iranian branch, appeared on Voice of America, the official broadcasting service of the United States government, which identified Rigi as "the leader of popular Iranian resistance movement". This incident resulted in public condemnation by Islamic Republic officials.

If their are intelligence communities being so active with Jundallah, then their must be itleast a large spy base of operations in Iran, any thing of that nature is a pre-emption to war, unless of course feedback loops are turned on.

The CIA is probably recruiting a assload of Sunni militants, and i'd place a good wager that some of that money is going into Iraqi Sunni militant circles as well.

The other powder keg is how the CIA funded an Al Qaeda linked group in Lebanon to keep leverage on Hezbollah, this fighting in Lebanon sparking right now is a prelude to the larger war, Shiite vs Sunni, throw in Israel in Gaza, hamas fighting fatah, hezbollah in lebanon fuckin everything up, al qaeda battling lebanese army and threatening christians and shiites, and the kurds are at it again in Turkey.

Where is my favorite pumpkin to say that stuff like this doesn't happen? Of course, this will be forgotten when they "attack" us and we then have a war against Jundallah. And then we'll have a large percentage of the blind population screaming "conspiracy". The US govt had nothing to do with this and of course...NO US money went to fund them, or al qaeda or any other militant group.

Tensions have been raised by Iran's seizure of what the US regards as a series of "hostages" in recent weeks. Three academics who hold dual Iranian-American citizenship are being held, accused of working to undermine the Iranian government or of spying.

A quote from the article in the first post that I sort of enjoyed. I am sure that to Iran, they are doing nothing more than holding PRISONERS. Yet, we for political reasons are going to reword it to hostage. Doesn't the US treat spies as prisoners and not "hostages"????

Your favorite pumpkin thinks, and has expressed in another thread, that there is essentially no money not justified that goes toward the destabilization of the islamofascist Iranian mullacracy. Unfortunately, I find it hard to believe that Jorge Arbusto has somehow grown a spine.

The main point being, of course, that it is hypocritical, not that it is or is not "justified. Why are we not listing ourselves as an Axis of Evil? :what:
