Injury rehab: working out
    #6942457 -

Im looking for some tips on getting a good workout.

A lot of the time if im working out my shoulder it hurts or at least feels uncomfortable, and bones click and grind. My doc told me the muscles will take over once i work them out.

I've done like.. a bit of good-feeling workouts but mostly I can't seem to target the right muscle, or i just get mad and pump the weight with bad form while not even feeling a muscle burn. I think not being warmed up has somthing to do with it, or maybe my muscles are spasming (i really dont know, my shoulder and neck are like rock tense anyways).

basically i havnt made much progress and am worried that i will soon become very mad and cause another injury.

can't help you out too much but half the time I do sit-ups my femur ball seems to pop slightly in and out of my hip socket.  I walk at least a mile a day so it's not like my legs don't get used.  Sometimes it gets very uncomfortable though.  Maybe I'm not targeting the right muscle either, but what the hell muscle is that

Warm-ups are always a good thing but they are especially important during rehab. And for rehab workouts its generally better to lift lighter weights and go for more reps and more sets.

Just keep doing to exercises with correct form and the targetted muscles will eventually kick in, just give it time.
