just wait a while longer, i think. Mine took like forever, and then i noticed something that just looked lke a piece of lint. after a day or two more they took off. are u sure u waited for the cakes to cool long enough before injecting the spores?? good luck...------------------ "We are not afraid to follow truth wherever it may lead, nor to tolerate any error so long as reason is left free to combat it."

No!!You came this far, wait at least another week. I don't know much about your growing conditions, but my guess from experience is that you are not keeping the jars warm enough. Typical household temps are between 68-72 degrees farenheit, and mushrooms especailly cubenis mushrooms like temps between 82-86 degrees farenheit. Try putting the jars in a warmer place. Peace and keep us posted.

I innoculated 6 jars all at the same time. 2 Jars took 19 days to show signs of growth! The other 4 jars showed signs of growth within 72-96 hrs..I have no Idea whey they went at different speeds, I tried real hard to do each one exactly the same. But they all grew, some just took a lot longer! Peace /Gadget

Temprature, spore concentration, and freshness of spores, are all things that affect when spores will germinate. The key is the temprature!!!!! Find a dark warm spot and place your jars, trust me it makes a world of difference.
