Slow mycelium growth?

Heya, guys. About 14 days ago I inoculated a couple of jars with an ecuadorian cubanis strain. For the first six or seven days, I didn't notice any mycelium growth at all, then a little and now a little more but it's no where near the amount that the guide says I should have by this point in time. Any ideas on why it would be growing so slowly?

if it's goin slow or stopping, you may need more more air circulation. your substrate may be on the dry side as well.
