mycelium growth!!!yeahhh!

hello guys!!! it's my first time growing... and i just have a nice feeling!!!
if you remember i created 7 jars from 2 eq syringes (too much spore solution ,huh?). and i also didn't sterilize the 2 of the 7 jars!
i inoculated 2 days ago...
now,all my cakes,even the non sterilized have started becoming white!!!!!!
isn't it too early?
however,the white shit in them makes me feel good:-)

Congratulations !
You could have put less spore solution in your jars (2 syringues in 7 jars !!!), but it will speed up dramatically colonisation.
You have to know that you are very likely to loose your 2 unsterilised jars.

If you innoculated unsterilized jars two days ago and they're showing growth its probably not the kind of growth you want.

Isolate the non sterilized jars from the good jars.

Also I always use 1 syringe for 6 jars... I have found that as long as I have 4 holes for 1 jar and when I squirt the juice, that i squirt kinda in a few spots, (i kinda wiggle the needle around) it works well ,as of recently ive had jars colonize 90% in 7 days..... lets me get on to casings alot quicker... I pressure cook everything, lysol everything, alcohol everything, bleach everything, ya gotta be clean, remember this is shit your gonna be puttin in yer body and if you grown anything potentially toxic or have spores from say green mold floating around yer room, you can kiss growing in that room goodbye for a minute or eating dem shrooms, Plus who wants to tear down there whole grow room to clean green mold out!

Congrats on your success I can agree with the feeling, I wias also kinda scared though because how was I sure it wasnt cobweb???? Was I handling my jars too much? Was it dark enough? hey whats that smell? its seems as more questions are answered more just arrise, Thats why I love this hobby, it never is boring!!!!

dammit! there is mycelium growth on the non sterilized jars and NO GROWTH at the sterilized!!!!
this is bad,isn't it?

does not sound good my friend, DISPOSE of the non sterilized jars contents and spray everything down with lysol. Keep your other jars warm and loved and you should see some action.

unfortunately i have asked in more than 20 drug stores in my town and nobody knows what is the "lysol spray"
i bought an anti-bacterial spray and i hope that it works... i try to be as clean as possible...
the equadors in how manby days from inoculation start to give mycelium growth?

with my equadors i saw growth within 4 days

Where are you from that there is no Lysol?

Get clorox disinfecting spray then

or better yet a bleach / water mix works well aslo

i live in Greece. unfortunately nobody has and not even knows wtf is a lysol spray here...
so i bought a tev a sept spray!

what exactly is a bleach solution?i dont speak english very good and i still dont understand wtf is this?!?!?!!!

5% w/w NaOCl in water (sodium hypochlorite for the chemically challenged). You can further dilute that to 1% or less and it will still be very effective.

Lysol is mainly denatured ethanol in an aerosol can. It also contains small amounts of another antimicrobial chemical which I can't recall, and some fragrance.
