True, but maybe we could use this to spread the word! haha yeah I was just throwing ideas out, growery makes it seem like the only thing that its going to concentrate on is growing where as shroomery, while having A LOT of information on cultivation also has other sections of the forums related to shrooms in general.

But isn't that going to be the main thing? I know I personally will probably only ever go to the Growery to learn to grow. Sure, it may have other forums, but is that the main point? The Shroomery didn't start out to be a giant community, at least not that I'm aware, but to inform people on how to grow and information on shrooms, then it grew.

Growery sounds fine to me... I saw someone suggest the Hempire somewhere, I thought that was clever, but obviously doesn't stick to the "ery" format.

This actually sounds good heh, it'll drag in a lot of wold OG board members too. I still back up that Growery is a bad name (and hard to pronounce for us dyslexic).

If it's gonna be The Growery, I think we should ALSO buy overgrowery.com so people can type that in, too. It'll be good to reference the former biggest Marijuana community.

Not true. 420 is known worldwide. I'm not saying that everyone is familiar with it, but it is in use worldwide. Being a number, it's not even restricted by language. There's also an April 20th in every country and it's a worldwide holiday.


One other point... If you are going to use growery it would be a good idea to kick all the off-topic forums over to the new site. "Shroomery" suggests a very specific topic while "growery" is just a vague, non-specific word that doesn't suggest any particular topic. So it would be great to clean out the site by moving all the off-topic forums like sports, etc. over to the new site. That would also really help it out by providing a bunch of content and users right off the bat for the new start-up site.
