oh yes, start a forum where all discussions and openions pretaining to the upkeep and changes made to this here online community. I like the pressence of this forum as it is a help, however there is no "official" place to post info on this subject matter. I had this idea after OTD began to become ripe with site based Political discussion (and not politics that belong in the politial discussion forum) It is becomming less and less "off topic" and more and more " look here we have a topic and it's taking over" Now dont get me wrong, thease things need to be discussed, however i feel that if they had a seperate place to be voiced, those of us who realy have no say, or point in replying, could just let them slip by without having the political threads bump everything else down the list. I am interested in what goes on here and would personaly frequent a forum that posts the upcomming changes to this site and gives the public a chance to voice their concerns without being interupted by constant flamewars. I dunno just somthing to think about. i know my reasoning sucks, but hey, i'm trying to write this and quit smoking, so i'm a bit nuts at the moment

this is the place for it, but important stuff goes to OTD cause that has more visitors than this.

That was resolved pretty quickly.
If people have a problem with the way things are being run, they will voice it. I don't think that happens often enough to contribute a forum to it.

The day is nearing, PGF, when you and I come to fist-to-cuffs.

I agree with Kat; the OTD is NOT the forum to use for board updates. I also agree that the subject of board updates is to small to have it's own forum. My proposal is this: change the name of this forum to "Suggestions and Board updates".
The OTD forum has the most reads because all of the children go there to flame each other, to post non-sensical drivel and to generaly waste bandwidth. The fact that there are more posts there is NO reason to make it the catch-all for IMPORTANT information.
The forum is OFF TOPIC not IMPORTANT BOARD UPDATES, if the admin wants to use that forum for updates then they should include that in the tile. Additionaly, if this were to occur, I would suggest that the mods be more active in their positions and delete replys that don't provide relevance in the board updates posts.
