but when? its been like 5 or 6 months since i heard about it. The garden here sucks. I feel safe saying that considering that's where most of my post have been [before otd took over the top spot a few weeks ago].

I've not seen all this bad info that you claim is in the ethno garden despite the fact that I read all the weed threads in there?

well for a while there was a slew of really basic questions.
There was a 'im gonna sell f2's of lowryder' thread (first sale was gonna be to shromerites :suicide:)
someone recommended shading part of a vegging plant to get it to show sex (flower).  While this will work, it will also add flowering hormones to a plant your trying to veg. 

IMHO, a flowering period effects a lot more than the foliage.  I have never seen expansive root growth while flowering, but vegging is a total different story. 

While it will work, taking a cutting would be SO much better, and cause minimal damage.

PLUS, and on a broader scale, an in depth reason for why that technique is inferior, will get completely lost in the garden.


Someone will ask the same type of question in 3 weeks, and they will never find that post.
Someone will come in and offer to sell us F2's of the new autoflowering lowryder.



I wanna spread good information, but most of the early MJ responces are shit you read in Hightimes.  There are only two active mods in the garden (nuero, the third mod, had posted once in the past 15 months). 
Hightimes can only take you so far, and responding because you read it in hightimes, is a bad source.  I think the orginal poster said AFOAF did the 'shade' thing, and recommend it.  I just wouldnt go that route.

Plus, I just want a new MJ site to post at :bongload:
