How to find a doctor to prescribe you chron

If you lived in a area where weed was a medicine how do you go about finding a doc that gives out cards so you can grow your chron legally? How would you go about asking the doctor for chron?

"hey doc I get lots of headaches can I get one of those nifty legal weed cards now?"

I live in Ontario and this is how it works.

First you need a damn good reason... Chronic back pain, cancer patient, insomnia, anorexia, regular migranes. 

Second, you go to the Service Canada website and you print a few different applications.

i) Application to posessess up to 32 grams for medical purposes

ii) Application to purchase up to 32 grams for medical purposes from a government supplied pharmacy

iii)  Application to grow your own government approved plants.  You still need app # i & ii to do this.

iiii)  Application to designate a grower of your choice to grow your pot for you.  You still need app # i, ii and iii to to this.

They will have your name, address, illness and picture on file.  Also the name, address and picture on file of your grower if you choose to go that route.

It's a pretty long process, but I know a few people that have gone through it and grow thier own pot.  Apparently the pharmaceutical pot that they offer in pharmacies is NOT THAT GREAT, which is why most people choose to grow it themselves.

and you have to find a doctor that will confirm your issue. Most doctors will just offer your a T3 'script or something, so you have to find one that is really, really cool.

in los angeles there are advertisements everywhere for doctor's offices who specialize in cannabis. If you open up the LA Weekly newspaper, you'll see tons of em. Then you just make an appointment, tell the doc you can't sleep or that your back hurts, pay your 75 bucks, and you've got a cannabis card. Then you're allowed to grow, and buy buds, hash, oil, kif, and baked goods from any one of the many dispensaries located throughout LA county.

And for added excitement, the DEA has been raiding these places lately. They don't make arrests, they just kick down as many doors as possible, point their guns at all the stoned people, and leave with all the cash and merchandise. God that sounds just like... what's it called? oh yea "armed robbery"!
