my g/fs friend works at hot topic and she dresses and acts totally fucking emo IMO. She got my g/f to start listening to these gay ass indy bands and I accused them both of being little emo queens and they got all offended saying EMOS DONT LISTEN TO INDY ROCK!!! SO WE'RE NOT EMO!!

The word is indie, ie not y. It is a stupid term as it mearly covers rock music that is put out by independant labels. Genres suck these days, as do emos, but if their emo rock is independant, then its indie.

and yes emos listen to indie music.. they try and say they're indie kids to cover up their emoness.

Yeah Luke, I was talking to Erin a couple days ago and she was telling me about the people she hangs out with. I ended up knowing a bunch of them and they are definitely hXc/emo kids. She was like "Oh, you know really tall Adam?". I said yeah, we were best friends until like 9th grade. :lol:
