Are the jars exposed to light? This could be the cause of premature pinning. Birthing jars early invites contamination, but it has worked in the past :smile:

your cakes should never pin in the jar that easy, and every time. You must have your jars exposed to light. Keep your jars in the dark and they'll never pin until you birth or case. I suppose if they'll be done in a day or two you can wait. Casing with pins on the cake is supposed to be the perfect time.
