**2nd Shroomery Composition Contest Finished tracks. ended. New one this Thursday, join in!**
    #6694965 -

We had a smaller turn out this time around.  But I think the tracks are much more interesting then last time.  This poll is going to be up 5 days (ends monday).  Listen to each track while looking at the picture and vote for the one you feel best represents that photo.

P.S. MODS please replace this with the contest sticky thats up right now..  thanks.

All tracks will remain anonymous until the voting ends.

Hey Toddo, maybe there would be a better turnout if there was a longer period for the artists to compose. I was trying to get something done for this one, but i was too busy in the long run. I usually take a few weeks to write a decent song anyways.

The whole point is that these tracks are done by people that compose on the spot.  Everyone who enters is on the same boat. we give what we can out in the time alloted.  These don't need to be extravagant technical songs.  Just something done fairly quickly expressing a simple feelings (or not so simply in some cases.  )
Were all busy, I'm sure we all have work and or school but 2 weeks is way to lenient.  The 1 week time limit really pushes people to get on things and write something for the photo but most of all it is a challenge.

Save that idea and maybe incorporate it on the next photo.  On any account.. you have a new musical idea you can play with and shape into something cool.

what is with the weak vote count?

I figured with only three entries there would be way more votes than last week.

It's a lot of work to listen to 3 tracks, each roughly 2:30-3:00 min long AND having to stare at a picture while doing it :smirk:

I'm pretty shocked myself. Its all pretty even so that would be even more an incentive to vote. Plus I made a thread just for the poll. I guess its too much effort for people to listen to a few tracks and cast a vote.

I waited awhile to vote, they are all too good.

there may not have been a big turn out but the quality is through the roof. And the few votes really show that, it's really close.
