Jesus man dont be paranoid. As has been said, maybe she thought you wanted to leave earlier and she felt like she made you stay against what you wanted to do. You were pissed and you overheard something you werent meant to hear. Paranoia is useless. Dont say anything to her. Get a grip on your emotions, maybe lay off the ganja a while if you're getting para too often.

Also, 995 is not a valid percentage.

I don't think she was talking shit about you at all. But maybe you got the quote wrong (I read it a couple of times, still confused about it...so maybe I'm "a lame" as well?).

Anyway, from what you posted, it sounded like she thought you wanted to leave and she's lame for making you stay when you didn't want to.

That's hardly evidence enough to conclude that they all hate you or anything...either drop them or ask them for clarification.

This really reminds me of a story in C.S. Lewis's book The Voyage of the Dawn Treader...

In it, Lucy is flipping through a wizards book and finds a spell that allows her to hear what her friends say about her when she is not around. The temptation is too great and she uses it. She witnesses a friend talking down about her to another person, and she begins to cry.

The wise Aslan appears then and tells her that her friend was only trying to impress the other person. People do things to get along, and they think what you can't hear can't hurt you. In reality, beyond the surface words, her friend cares about her very deeply.

The moral? People make mistakes, you have made them, and others will make them. It is normally best to forgive and forget and value your friendship over one issue.

If this happens more then once, or what the person is saying starts circulating in social circles, then it is best to confront the friend in a direct and honest way (away from the ears of others, and sober if possible) and see why they are doing why they are doing. Hopefully you can work it out, but if they are dishonest or just generally jerks then they are probably not ready for a true friendship right now and you should distance yourself from them for the now. Time brings change, perhaps in the future they will be ready to come clean and become your friend again.

That, of course, is just my opinion.
