Losing friends sucks...

I think I would rather go to a friends funeral than deal with cutting another one out of my life because they turn into assholes who get kicks from seeing how much they can step on me before I'll react.

I guess it's for the better though. Every time something like this happens, you find out who your true friends are when they come up to you and say "Man, I just heard the funniest shit being spread about you by some dumb-ass!".

Here's the background, this was a friend who I tried to stick beside through the thick and thin, whom I tried to help get out of an 'abusive living situation'. Had the dood hooked up with a place to live at my sister's pad, had social services trying to get the kid some money, etc... Then he just gave up on the entire thing. To each their own I suppose, but then this dood accused me of selling him bunk shrooms (sold to me for $5 a piece, as 1gram/chocolate). I took lots of these things and found them to be quite good for the price (nowhere near what straight up shrooms can do, but still good none the less). 4 of them had me talking to the mushroom spirit, and 2 of them getting me quite high (after smoking a bowl of course) but with less visuals. I hooked a bunch of people up with those at cost until I realized that was actually costing me money having to drive all over the place to hook people up, so I bumped the cost to $7, and sold maybe 6 at that price.

Most feedback was that they were "good, but not great, but worth what I paid for them".

Then along comes this guy... Flat out stated they "sucked" and accused me of ripping him off. He ate 5 of these things (when he was already on god-knows what else), after I advised him that they likely weren't as strong as the homegrowns he was used to, and all he would say is that they "sucked". I informed everyone that found those chocolates to be less than adequate, that they would be compensated nicely come harvest time.

His treatment of the people around him (especially me) of late has been absolutely deplorable. He lacks any social skills whatsoever, and were the people he knows not so patient, he would likely have been beaten down for some of the shit that has come out of his mouth.

Here's the last messages I got from the guy:

This is after he bugged me for DAYS to hook him up some of the white devil, then bugged me so much when I finally said I'd get it, that I decided to try from a new connection instead of waiting a few hours for my friend to get home.

What are some shroomerite's opinions on this matter?

I'm having a little falling-out with my (former) best friend right now, too. She actually is going to college in Missouri, so I never actually see her anymore, but we used to talk on the phone and email each other and chat all the time. But sometime in the past month or so, she stopped returning my calls and won't reply to my emails, and the few times that she does pick up the phone, she hangs up as soon as she realizes it's me. I don't even know what she's upset about. If I knew what I did wrong, I'd apologize to her, but she won't tell me what I did wrong since she won't speak to me.

It's like women married to alcoholics "He can be such a nice person...... when he's not drinking."

This guy CAN be a nice person, but 2% of the time just doesn't fucking cut it.

All he has ever done is push me away and take advantage of my kindness.
His behaviour of late is inexcusable.

If you were to stab someone in the face and then apologize, all would NOT be forgiven. There is a definite line where an apology doesn't mean shit, and he crossed that line BIG time!
