So, I'm 995 percent sure that i heard one of my good friends talking shit about me last night.....

yeah, it was fucked up.
yesterday i went out to the bowling alley to have a few beers with a few friends, we went over to someone elses house for a bit, and i decided to leave.

When i was leaving i had to piss real bad, so i stopped and took a piss on one of the bushes outside the garage where we were chillin.....

Thats when i overheard my friend andrea say.... "I dont konw why i make them stay so long, im such a lame" clearly talking about me and the girl i was with....

im very upset over this, i dont really know what to think, had i not been all drunk i might have just went and confronted her, but i decided to leave the drama be....

When shit like that happens, I like to pretend nothing happened then find a way to work it into a casual conversation using the exact words they used. IF they notice, then they'll usually shut up about it and it gives you the feeling/sense that you have the upperhand.

If it really bothers you, say something. If it's not really a big deal, and you feel that pissing on their bush evens you up, then ignore it a move on.

Sometimes people talk shit about other people just to make themselves look or feel better... fuck em. :shrug:

you see, i didnt hear everything else that was said.... so im really un clear of the context of the situation.

in all honesty she may have just been going along with what some other people said, although i doubt it beacuse, the other people that were in there all have respect for me.

ill call her up today and ask what the hell she said,

If thats all the evidence you've got then the chance that this was about something else entirely is huge.

Even if this were about you, hey - you were drunk to the point of peeing in the driveway, perhaps you were less than presentable inside too :wink:

You came in drunk and were quite drunk when you left - perhaps you weren't pleasant company because of it, or perhaps people wanted their privacy.

Just let it slide, its likely a tempest in a teacup asnd if not you'll see very clear signs in the future.

I personally wouldn't talk to them again. If they want to get together sometime let them make the plans. Don't go out of your way to include them in anything.

Its very easy to get into misunderstandings because of this kind of thing. Context is everything. If they all respect Zippoz then the one who said it made an ass of herself if it was in any way insulting.

Theres too little information to base anything on, but it doesn't hurt to passively listen for further clues.

If Zippoz makes the call he has to bluff his way through it as he has no solid information. Its best to passively pay attention and try to remain unbiased, because people tend to find what they're looking for, even if it wasnt there before.

Yup, it could be anything shes talking about.

Its grammar nazism perhaps, but "why do I let them stay" would be the natural thing to say if zippoz had the context right.
Its very easy to misunderstand parts of an overheard conversation and the classical mistake is to assume its about you.

Hmm...I would just say to her, "Hey, I went out to take a piss in the bushes and got all paranoid that you were talking shit about me because I heard, blah blah blah." "Response?"

Sometimes I feel paranoid towards my friends but I just tell them I'm feeling paranoid and see what their response is. 99.9 % of the time the drama is all in my head.
