Pet Food Recall - Check for your brands

I know there are a lot of dog/cat owners here, so I figured I'd send this link.... The recall is limited to "cuts and grazy" style food inside of cans or pouches. So if you buy large bags of dry kibble (like we do) things are probably okay.

don't lie you all know you ate cat/dog food as a kid, once i hit college all i could afford was bulk cat/dog food :frown: but the stuff in the can is quite tasty once you cook it up its like tenderloin horse meat

Damn, that is crazy, thanks for posting.
I used to feed my kitty some of that shit but last time she got a blood test the vet said she had high cholesterol so we switched to buying "human grade" cat food at the holistic pet store even though it's like 30 cents more a can. It's lower in fat and has no fillers, so the cat shits a lot less. I guess what we spend on the food we make up for in savings on the litter.

I'm pretty sure dogs aren't supposed to eat a vagetarian diet.
The brand I feed my cat is called "wellness" and they make dog food too--they sell it at whole foods.

This is the one I'm talking about.  Dogs are omnivores, they can be either or.  Cows arent supposed to eat meat, yet they are fed it anyway.

dogs do not need meat. Cat's do.

old news. this recall came out march 9th.


my dog has been sick since early february when it started, and we had no idea why. im super-pissed about it. poor thing, no wonder he was acting strange. not even the vet knew what was up. she just told us to keep giving him medicine that makes him be able to shit without exploding.

poor guy.
