It was all about to happen and then we realized that mushrooms and pot are two separate substances and decided to can it......

Overgrow.com doesn't like us. They even say that if you want to talk about shrooms, go to the shroomery. They don't like shrooms on there site.

O.k., maybe merger wasn't the right term. I know there was some talk about some type of deal with overgrow. The FF rejected it and as far as I know The Shroomery accepted.
I just wanted to know what all the fuss was about.

makes the rush to be a new vendor not as impressive of an "investment" (since that hypothetical "new blood" from overgrow wont find its way over here for free... and overgrow is expensive to advertise on).
a partnership to exchange ideas on how to run a site like this and that is a nice idea (btw thor/admin here & admin there). but in regards to anything more (exchanging links, mailing lists <- hope this doesnt happen!) they have a lot more to offer than the shroomery has to give in return, perhaps rc and shabang realized this. perhaps it was just speculation. perhaps it will just work out like it always has: someone on overgrow says, "what about 'shrooms!", and eventually a member will post to come here. same track as here: how to grow weed? "go to overgrow" is the main response. perhaps we dont need overgrow here (since most of us are able to type "overgrow.com" into the browser if we were interested in growing weed).
"we" being members, not vendors.
i do admit ill laugh if this causes vendors' grief, a partnership with overgrow not going thru. i think its amusing is all... esp. since no one at overgrow has been speculating about it like here in the omc. but thats just me and im feeling a little *randy* tonite. perhaps ill change my tone in the morning.

anyway, where has all this talk of a sharing of resources, etc been taking place? certianly not within the eye sight of the patrons of this site....if there are shadfy deals and dirty tricks goin down, please bring them to light.....it's been a fell fort night since I'ev blasted out conspiracy theorum and some such.....the answr my friend is blkowing in the wind...the answer is blowin in the wind....for the times they are a changin.....

Nothing shady, just a simple banner exchange dealy.
They want to direct questions about mushrooms to us, and thats about it.
