Tripping in my room..need help
    #667383 -

Well this is the story
I have 20grams of shrooms in my bag saved up for this summer since they are hard to come by..putting them in a jar with ziploc is or is not a good method of preservation? Anyways, i really really really want to do them. I've done shrooms twice, once was 1gram(great..really intense) the second was 1.5gs(wasn't as good). The first one was at my cousin's house just chillin, the second one was at a club(kinda sucked). Anyways, i'm thinking about 2.5 grams in my room around 12p.m when my rents are sleeping. Now i can't turn on any lights and the only think i can really do is either listen to music and just sit there on my bed, chilllin, looking outstide. Can't really go out of room(we live in an appartement)
Now, I believe i might get paranoid due to my bad trips with weed that last few times due to paranoia(i was freaked out but now that i look back on it, i enjoyed it somewhat) and my rents being close to me.
Yet i believe this can be a great learning experience.
What should I do?(don't give me the answers that if i'm questioning myslef, or in doubt, i'm not ready etc...i need something with more substance or past experiences from someone..lol)

Thnx,

P.S
When I do it, i'll be really tired so i'd think it'd be a really cool hazy, very mellow trip

I recently tripped in my room while my dad was asleep, but luckily after he went to bed I was able to leave my room and turn other lights on in the house and go outside and explore. I think this had a large part to do with how awesome my trip turned out to be. If I had been stuck in my room alllll night I would've been really restless and uneasy. I didn't have any paranoia at all like weed can sometimes give. In fact, at certain times I completely forgot about everything around me and was completely care-free.
If you have any doubts at all I wouldn't do it. There's no sense in wasting mushrooms on a bad or even not-so-great trip. Plan for a time and place where you can do them and be sure to have a great time. Mushrooms are really something special and should be treated that way.
Just my opinion.... Have fun whatever you decide to do

I tripped on a eighth in my basement when my mom was asleep upstairs. I got very scared of waking them up while I was tripping. Just dont do too much or u may get to the point where u think it would be cool to go on a mission to your parents bedroom.

You're obviously young if you're worrying about Mom and Dad; and you don't want the 'lecture' format. Well, if you're under 18, (which is not an arbitrary number, but an average age for some important developmental issues), then you're too young for playing with psychedelics/entheogens. As important as these substances can be, your setting (the enviornment and conditions) is far, far from positive (sneaking...in the dark...under your parents' snoring noses?); and your set (purpose for taking mushrooms) could not be realized because the setting is wrong.

In addition to your age, which really has to do with not interferring with the cognitive aspect of your ego, which is still being formed; you are not with a more experienced person and you have not mentioned a philosophical framework with which to support the experience. My suggestion is to do quite a bit of reading first, before you embark on this kind of experimentation. Consider this as professional advice from a licensed and board certified mental health professional with 31 years of Psychedelic Experience. I come from a generation of burn outs and acid casualties that I began to see when I was in high school. Take care.

high

as i see the situation, you are a psychonaut but yet, you dont know it,
so it is useless.

as markosthegnostic had written, it is very important to realize exactly
what are you up to when on entheogens. and of course, eating shrooms
while your parents are sleeping next door isnt THE way to do it.

my advice will be the same: read and read some more. then find some
cool friends to share with them time on entheogens. better of all, if you
could eat shrooms outside on the forests, a few hours before sunset.
you will feel inside you why entheogens are really a gift of nature to us.

if you have any questions or want to "speak" to someone, dont hesitate to email
me at kykeon@freemail.gr

Well, I did trip, taking 2 grams....

The first 2 hours were great, music was cool, hallucinations were rewarding and the nature outside my window was great. Yet, after the 2 hours, being already tired and my eyes shutting down very slowly, I became very very restless which ruined any buzz i had. So the following 2 hours was 2 hours of rambling thoughts too fast to decipher. It was funny in the way that I kept contradicting myself. I had also great discussions about time and life in general in my mind and i was comparing and contrasting the mental state of sober people at the very moment(last night that is) and my current mental state and how all rules and boundaries set upon me during my regular daily life had been shattered allowing me to roam around my mind.
I was also amazed by a person's brains capability and the emotions/images it projects during different times of someone's life.

It was a great learning experience but I doubt i will repeat it again. Next times include friends and alot of space and room. Possibly doing them and roaming the tiny town i live and indulging myself in the pleasures of the aristrocracy blessed on my life.

Anyways, that's about it...thnx for the input though.

Confused..lol
