yeah, i think the last tram/metro runs at 1 am.... but there is night buses too.

Save a fortune by going to rotterdam or atleast stay in haarlem and catch trains to and from the Dam.

When you're walking around town and see a hash bar with a big hooka/pillows and couches in the front window GO IN because it has a tendency to elude those that search for it.

Also, if you have an extra 50 euros you should know what to do with it, lol.

Amsterdam has got to be my favorite place in the world. It is absolutely mind blowing if you ask me. Make sure to hit up tons of coffee shops. For the most fun you've never wanted to have, hit up the Banana Bar it the Red Light District. That place is a blast...I left with a postcard written in stylish cursive by a woman named Pussy by putting a sharpie up her pussy and with the proud ability to say I too have eaten a banana out of a stripper's pussy.

Heineken Experience is fun if you're into beer...3 beers with the price of admission. For some art and culture, check out the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum, and Anne Frank House. Make reservations early and show up before the lines get too long!

Canalboat ride is a tourist must. Its a good way to absorb the city. Otherwise, wonder around the city and have a good time! My sister lives there, so if you meet a loud, caustic, and probably drunk brunette named Brigid say hi for me!

I have been once and it was amazing. At the time i was too young to get into coffee shops, but it was still great. It is a beautiful city. Try and take a cruise on the canals for dinner or something. Also, don't spend all of your time doing drugs, there are awesome museums and galleries.

I am going again sometime next year to do the whole drug tour.
