Shiitake - Contam or Normal?

I have some Shiitake culture I made from a clone using 80% wood chips / 20% BRF flower. This colonized completely in about 6 weeks, and a week and a half ago I removed the cap from the jar completely and placed it in a fruiting chamber at room temperature. I see that the culture is starting to turn brown, but not only that there there are drops of brown liquid forming and oozing out of the substrate. Is this contamination, or normal? I don't notice any bad smell. Here is a picture.

The brown coloring is normal. Put the lid back on and place it in the refrigerator for a week or two, then give it a good two day dunk in the jar by filling it up with water, then place in the fruiting chamber or even on an open shelf. If you fruit in open air, lay a sheet of wax paper over the jar until a pin forms. You usually only get one mushroom from a pint jar. Shiitake don't need as much humidity as other mushrooms, and will often contaminate in an FC.
