Salvia Browning
    #6545298 -

So I just received a salvia plant in the mail. When I opened it, the some of the leaves had browning, and the plant looked a bit wilted.

Is this normal/savable? The plant is now being stored in a container with wholes for ventilation, at 77 F and 65% relative humidity. It is about a 1.5ft under a 50w grow light.

I would say it's good as long as the stem is not black, I recieved cuttings in the mail and most of the leaves fell off after a few days but it grew. hopefully yours will do fine.

Alright. The highest I could get the humidity right now was 80% and that was by misting the insides of the container. Maybe I need to make the holes smaller?

Anyone else? So basically if I keep the humidity up it should recover.

It's always seemed like these plants stress out easily to me. Mine lost leaves during transplanting but always came back, even when things looked rough. Just transplant, water, and put up a humidity tent. When the soil gets dry, then water again, but not before then.
