I'd like to get into the porn business. Well filming/directing. I dont think it would be hard at all to get people to do it on camera.

Not really. I'm not talking about streamlining right away, but rather making a couple of videos with the consent of the actors and selling them at colleges or what not.

it is indeed all about who you know.

and you have to find a good area of the market to dip into. Just having people on camera fucking aint gonna cut it. That itself is basically impossible considering the massive industry.


It's no slice of pie i'll tell ya that.

Well here is what I suggest for myself, you could simply say what college, well not specifically, where you are at and they should sell like hot cakes at that school.

Yes you have to know people to get infamously rich, but you dont always have to know someone to make money. Remember, there are a lot of people that make money and dont know anyone at all.

I really doubt this will pay, most college people download their porn off the internet for free. If anything you will sell one copy and it will then be copied and spread all over campus and over the wire in a matter of hours...

ps: my roommate tried selling coped versions of some porn dvds he had and he nobody bit.

Well, the copying is the bad part. My suggestion is to sell non-abled to copy dvd's. Yes a lot of people download their porn off the net, but a brilliant idea is to just set up a stand. If you have release forms and are legally able to sell it, sell it right off of campus or on.

All above mentioned is if you have permission. Alos you can go to local stores and sell right out of the trunk of your car, like rappers do when they sometimes first start out.

its not as easy it seems. you could start a website if your tech savy but if you want to start producing movies, you need to understand everything that is involoved with production, from financing to authoring its not as simple as it seems.

Dont let all these chicken littles steer you.. Im sure all of them are fully attempted and failed pornographers..

people with little ambition usually belate and despise those with it....

People with it encourage and promote others into progression..


My advice is to study all you can about marketing in the porn biz.. and if you really really want to learn it find an idol or hero on the net or in real life thats DOING porn business already, learn from them all you can, and network find others to learn from... but dont compete with them directly.. Most successful people are nice and will help you out, if they don't fear you as a competitor!

Money.... thats not a problem find wealthy people that are somewhat business savy, and show them a buisness plan that you have developed with hardcore proofs of profit, no pun intended..

For every objection or problem you encounter, that is a point for improvement upon yourself.. if you learn... however alot of people will run and smoke a bowl lol.....


Most of these guys prolly thought:

Dude 1: "hey dude that would be totally rad if we did porn... like we would get so totally rich"

Dude 2: "yeah man that would totally rock... but its so hard to do"

Dude 1: "yeah totally hard,lets smoke another bowl dude"
