And what you have to find is an appropriate uh, offense at that level of felony so that you can …can enter into the plea agreement. That's typically how the…the decision making process is done. So um, although I wasn't privy to that decision making process, it was a…a line prosecutor who handled tip…I've done that. And typically, what you do is you would find in this case, a classics on designated felony where there's a factual basis so that … I mean, you can't just pick any…uh, any classic felony.

In Canada the consensual age for legal sex is 14 years old. Think about that. If by 14 years old your legally allowed to decide whether or not your able to have sex with someone in your age bracket. Does it not also make sense that some of those people would also consent to having someone put them online?. For god sakes, I manage an office now and some of the younger guys I work with talk about how they use the cell phone camera's to record them fuckin their girlfriends of like 16/17. Does this count as child porn? Its a fine line you walk when u try and define something like that. I think its best to say the responsibility lies within protecting kids from sexual predators and sexual abuse, not deciding whether its right or wrong for others to look them up online.

Nope, 14 is legal in Canada.
Unfortunately Haper and his group are trying to raise it to 16. I hope that fails, otherwise they might be screwing up a lot of kids lives with nonsense charges.

Who's financially supporting child porn? I think it's just out there. If there was a billing system that would basically be saying "jail me" for the seller.
