Did you read the article man? He was just a 16 year old kid who liked to see some titties, accidentally found some underage shit and the next thing he knows the cops are raiding his house at 6 am with guns pointed. Pretty gay.

When I was under 18 years of age I looked at child porn. (defined as girls under the age of 18, never interested in prepubescents)

I wanted to see girls my own age, what do you expect...

Got out of the habit just as soon as I got out of the age group.

The kid was 16 and probably had 15-16 year girls on his screen. Child porn yes but they were probably his own age. But does he deserve to go to federal prison? (if he could since he's a minor....) But prison is for violent criminals.

Rather go after people taking the pictures they arrest a goddamn kid masterbating on the family computer.... What a violent harmfull criminal.

For god sakes I have been searching for adult porno and ran into kiddie shit. It was disgusting I didn't look at longer than it took me to hit the back button. I would hate to think that someone can spend time in prison for that.

Luckily we have a judicial system(well sorta) so he will hopefully be proven innocent.

My thoughts...

1) Watching and possessing child porn should be protected by the first amendment.
2) The sentence for it should not be higher than if he actually raped a child.
3) Until you download a video from P2P, you have no idea what it is, since the titles are normally just spammed keywords.

All these stupid child porn / obscenity laws are a waste of time and money. So are the drug laws, and vehicle inspection, and curfew - and the rebuilding of Iraq, and the destruction of Iraq, and discussing politics online =/
