You haven't read a damn thing about groing shrooms have you cbull?

Nobody should answer this guys questions! He refuses to read anything for himself. He is a lazy ass. Check his old posts. He has been referred to the FAQ and other resources and still he posts questions that are CLEARLY answered in them. Do not allow him to continue his ignorance and laziness by answering his questions.

mushman420...

It's not that I don't "like" his question, it's the fact that the answer can VERY EASILY be found in the FAQ which he has been asked to read several times. I'd bet any amount of money that I could find at least 30 different places on this website and a few other shroom related websites where his question is answered. Almost every question he asks is the same routine. You can not miss the answer to his question. You have to be a complete moron to not be able to find out what temp. and humidity is right for casings. It's EVERYWHERE!!

You didn't look at his posts did you? FYI, 90% is NOT too humid for casings. You need to do some reading too.

Ya cbull...go ahead and drop your humidity down to 75. Thats perfect. You get lots of shrooms around 75%. They love 75%.

Cbull....Is English your main language? Because,if it is, I doubt very seriously you'll be moving on to the forth grade next year.

Again, the answer to these questions are EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!

Ya...just cover it for 5 days...dont wait for it to fully colonize or anything. Dont use a casing layer either...they are a complete waste of time. After 5 days raise the temp to 106F. They grow much faster at temps above 105.

I typed "casing humidity" and got dozens of posts that clearly show and explain everything about casings. The first one listed titled "Re: casing humidity, better or worse?" has a post by Anno that gives a link to a website which posts the entire chapter about casing layers from "The Mushroom Cultivator", which is probably the most highly respected book on growing shrooms in the world. I just zipped through the next couple threads and found the answer to every single question you asked in this thread. I did all this in less than 2 minutes! You probably did a search for simply "casings". Thats why you didnt find what you wanted. Be more specific next time.

I apologize for flaming you but I just can't believe some of the questions you ask. It just seems like you have'nt read a thing and just want someone else to show you the answer without you doing a thing.

Another thing...why in the hell are you trying to do casings before you have even grown 1 shroom from a cake? Casings are not for newbies like yourself.

your looking at the wrong FAQ
go to the shroomery homepage>grow/find section> then the FAQ section for casing
there you have it
