Visit a national or State Park I'd say. There are plenty of them around if you look/drive a little. Take a weekend trip to one and camp there. There's NOTHING like hiking a good trail, not know what you'll run into.

After rereading that, I guess you could take that literally or metaphorically.

Go to Museum, Zoo, Aquarium, Planetarium, Library, or the gym. Travel, Clean/Organize your shit, make shit(crafts), jog, sleep, draw, paint, footbag(freestyle hacky sack), cook good meals, eat the meals you cook, stare and think, improve yourself(whatever that might take), hunt, buy shit, think of different ways to possibly make cash, invest, go for a drive....

If money is a problem, then you must obtain it with or without being bored. Without is preferable, however not most likely. If you need a new job, then do what you can to follow your interests, and brainstorm something you will be happy doing. If you like to be independent do what i am attempting. Start a small business, that has to do with some of your interests.

I am making attempts to run a small business doing custom blown glass. It does get old sometimes, however the learning is unlimited, and so are my options. If i ever get bored i remember: "Ohh yea, i have a business to run, and money to make"

If i ever get bored, and i do, i can use some of the money i make to fund small little experiments to keep me interested in the mean time.

Books are always great, especially when you do find out what your interests are. For me it's.....

Marijuana Chemistry
Mushrooms Demystified
Growing Gourmet and Medicinal Mushrooms
Flameworking
Sunset Western Garden Book
99 Critical shots in pool
*more.......

Find an interest and run it into the ground... Thats how i do it.

However there is a balance between work and play. I have been experiencing financial trouble because i have been spending my time reading, learning, and experimenting, instead of working.

The persuit of knowlege never stops. If you got a question you can't answer then post it. If you get no reply then maybe you are posting on the wrong forum. Almost anything you want to learn about can be found on the internet.

I don't know what life would be like, if i ever stopped learning.
