Erm, you can graft weed onto hops if you'd like. But it's still the MJ thats making the THC.

I wonder if MJ could be grafted on to a cactus?... that'd just be odd.

It can be done sucesfully but the hops doesnt provide enough nutrition for flowers or the support and water necessary for its survival. Yes it could be done but whats the point in it?

Penguin.. I heard the same thing a few years ago.. Some ppl say that the inner part of the bannana and orange peals have THC in them and that you can get high if you dry em out and smoke em. Ive never tried it tho and highly doubt its true.

i heard the Banana peel thing, but i hear it was a chemical called Bananadine, and i tried it and it kinda worked, some people say it was just a placibo, but i def noticed something beyond the lack of oxygen to the brain.

I tried it a long time ago, so maybe it was just placibo effect
i'd like to find out what the real deal is

you're right... it is not THC in the banana peel, it is a chemical called bananadine. i found a guide online once that gave easy instructions on how to isolate bananadine from banana peels. I think the end results are crystals that are smoked for somewhat hallucinogenic effects.

Dr. Shulgin did mention lichens as a possible source for THC precursors in PIHKAL. He goes further into this in one of his "Ask Dr. Shulgin" columns at Alchemind. Here's a link to that column: http://www.alchemind.org/shulgin/adsarchive/THClichens.htm
