Has anyone here ever grown any? They say that it's not tropical enough to grow them here, but all around town people have them in their yards. They just don't get more than 6-7 feet usually.
I'm interested in growing one indoors. Or some in a greenhouse. There's a zillion different kind with a plethora or different flavors and textures. Like the Java Blue is supposed to have the taste and texture of vanilla ice cream, and there's another that has pinkish orange fruit and have a hint of strawberry or rasberry. Anyway, it's pretty fucking dope and I want to grow some.

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Oh and the ladyfinger bananas are tiny, like finger sized and very sweet. Haha, I gotta grow some bananas. I'm gonna order a plant each of at least two different kinds. I found a source that sells baby plants that are about a foot, for 8 bucks, 13 bucks including shipping, all different kinds. That's pretty fucking good if you ask me.

Yeah, in Atlanta I would occasionally see banana plants growing. They always died back in the winter, though, and I doubt they ever produced bananas.
