Young children, babies especially, often fight to keep a diaper on; they feel right without something on. No other animal wears clothing except for us. Does this not scream out that there is nothing wrong with "nudity"? If anything, we are the odd ones for covering our hides.

How does this relate to spiritual life, especially if involved in a well-known (or not) religious group. Many texts claim "nakedness" as a bad thing.

And legally, we are forced to have clothes on unless in our homes where no one can see us, because otherwise it's indecent exposure, or at a nudist colony.

We started wearing clothes because it usually gets cold at one time or another just about everywhere... We have no fur.

With all the fat, disgusting fucks in America, I don't mind the clothes. Think about the hot tight body to fat slob ratio!

It's a conspiracy between the religious right and the fashion industry.  :shiftyeyes:

Humans are a lot more vulnerable to the elements than other primates, as most of us are not furry.  :wink:  I'd be glad to go naked during the warmer months, though.  I think that public nudity is legal as long as you are not being "lewd."  The example I heard was--if you mow your lawn in the nude, you are within the law.  If you are doing a pole dance on your front porch, you are indecently exposed.

I'd say it is more a social censure issue than a legal issue.  Most humans older than 12 would not dare to be naked in public, because they would be embarassed and/or they are concerned about what other people would think of them.  I've spent some time around nudists, and they are very interesting folks.  Relaxed, funny, friendly, and much more self-accepting.  Sure, they weren't all young hotties, but the ease in the way they carried themselves was beautiful.  :thumbup:

As for me, I'm only a nudist at home.  My older son likes to roll his eyes and say "Moooommmm, put some clothes on!"  :lol:

When Adam and Eve sinned for the first time that is when they realised their nakedness and started wearing clothes. If humans were without sin we would all still be naked.

Its cold here, man. I'd hate to have to walk around naked in this climate. It might be tolerable for one or two months during the summer, but that's about it.

I just gotta chime in and say I LOVE nudity!! No real thoughts other than that one....
