starbucks
    #6383639 -

so I go to starbucks n the guy asks me how my day is going and I do the so-so with the hand and say "wavy gravy"

he tells me "I've had days like that"
n I told him there's only one day

then he says hey what can I get for you, n then I tell him but as I begin to tell him he starts talking to his co-worker and I say, hey you aren't listening to me, all slow like to let him know how goddamn important I am, n he looks at me like he wants a scrooge

so I get my coffee and scrooge at them both and he says to me I hope your afternoon is better

so I look him in the eye and I say real slow like "yeah, well you're a horse eater"

then I sat outside and had my coffee and cursed the world

so here's to you mr. siddha man

merry fucking christmas
ho ho ho

and then I watched people drive around the parking lot islands
complaining about the weather in africa while hypnotising themselves with numbers and letters to keep from thinking about the weather in africa

haha, what the fuck?

but on a side note, it feels makes my day when someone asks how i'm doing. not like i go into detail, i just usually say "i'm doin' fine" but it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

today was boring and what i'd like to call a day wasted. fuck high school.

earlier this morning i dedicated myself to the task of piling wood for a family member which turned out to be a great success and a personal lesson in discipline.

later this evening i consciously broke my three day fast on the second day which turned out to be a great failure and a spiritual lesson in the value of failing.

there is no success like failure and failure's no success at all. :mushroom2:

i feel like i have transcended the winner/loser script today and by that acquired a deeper sense of my personal boundaries.

conclusion: no contrition, no pride.

People are useless.

Too bad atom bombs are so expensive nowadays. Damn government doesn't know what's best for people, and neither do most people for that matter.

You know that if atom bombs did blow up the whole world we'd just exist in the parallel universes in which the bombs didn't hit. You just can't win.

I had a pretty good day today. Try wearing a Christmas hat with reindeer antlers. People will smile at you and start conversations with you just because you're wearing a funny hat.

In that case, quantum immortality would seem to assure all existence infinitely meaningless.

People who have taken coffee drinking beyond the act of just drinking, and turned it into a hobby, have a certain level of hell all to themselves.

I used to work at a coffee Kiosk during a low point in my life. I dont drink coffee, never really enjoyed it..... so when someone would ask for my opinion regarding which flavor of sugar they would enjoy the best, I would reply "I wouldn't know, i don't drink coffee"....
A look of bewilderment would overcome them and they would ask me why I was working at an espresso kiosk.... I would always reply "most social workers don't have children".... and sometimes I would add that I like to have emotional distance and an unbiased perspective with my profession.

I saw one of the four surviving copies of the magna carta today, at visited salisbury cathedral. It was amazing(the cathedral)... but I dislike so many things about christianity and religion in general that it is hard to appreciate something like that.

And for some reason I also enjoy the little small talk that workers at restaurants and stuff make. Having worked in a restaurant for a while, I think it isnt bullshit, at least for me it wasnt. I prefer a happy customer, so if they are having a shitty day I want to know so that i can help make it better... it makes my life a lot less stressful. It isnt just about getting the extra tip either, id rather have a bunch of average tipping happy people than fucked up angry big tippers.
