Hmmm...I thought that you just claimed that Christmas was NOT a Christian holiday? Isn't it an invention of Satan?

So it is a Satanic holiday? Can I celebrate it on those grounds or would I still be a hypocrite?

Well, I don't think that the Satanists claim it, either, so you're probably OK.
I still love Christmas carols, and the only reason I ever attended church was to participate in singing, so I'm definitely going to Hell if fivepointer is correct.

To be a Satanist you sort of have to believe the Christian mythology, so Satanists are just fancy Christians....is this not correct?

and that... I do have preference for ales however, preferably nut brown ales. In truth however stout is technically an ale, but it does deserve it's own class.

If someone who denies Christianity celebrates what is, according to you, not a Christian holiday, they are not a hypocrite.
The World (generally speaking) sees Christmas as a day associated with Christianity. So when a person who has mocked Christians then goes ahead and wishes people a Merry Christmas and puts up lights ect. then that is certainly hypocritical.
I said the day was created by the Romanist church of Satan. Now if in your mind you are a Christian and are not aware of the history of the day but see it as a day to celebrate Christ's birth, then that would not be hypocritical.
If you believe to celebrate the day which you view as Satanic and by doing so you mock Christians, and you are not Christian, then that is not hypocritical.
It all depends on how you view things on whether or not you are a hypocrite.

And if you celebrate the day because you like cookies, egg nog & colorful lights? Few, if any, "non-Christians" pretend to suddenly love Jesus at Christmastime. It would be hypocritical to pretend to be Christian at Christmas, but not to participate in a holiday which is originally pagan, then Christian, and now a melting-pot of consumerism and TV-show-inspired traditions.

So sorry. I meant traditional Holiday food. I had a lot of home made tamales made with white corn, a bitter sweet Mexican cheese and green chiles! Yum. I hope you all got to spend time with the ones you love. Remember, life is short.

Christmas Hypocrites
My best bud called me from California on Tuesday to wish me a Merry Christmas. Taking a page from the LE playbook, I shouted into the phone, "FUCK OFF, JEW-BOY! You Hebes killed Jesus and don't even believe in him. Don't give me your hypocritical greetings!"
I am certain he got the message.
I am puzzled though as to why he cancelled my New Year's party invitation as that is a neutral holiday.

not a stab at atheism, but it's true..
and when you write the days of the week, you are invoking Roman and Nordic creator gods. which angers baby Jesus.

i'd prefer you guys called me a blasphemer over calling me a hypocrite. Seems to me, in this thread it's one and the same.
