Based on what I did.

a) 29 degrees celsius.
b) I'm not clear on your container setup.
c) My Acadian Coast have shown the fasted growth of the strains I've tried, that was 4 days. I've read about people saying it can take up to 2 weeks. Longest I've waited was maybe a week.
d) Wait 5-7 days after the outside has been completely colonized.
e) Lid off.

Hope that helped.

Oops! Incubator.... I thought you were talking about a terrarium . No need for air exchange when your jars are incubating.

Cold shocking comes later, to help initiate pinning. If you do a search I'm sure you'll find some good posts by more knowledgeable cultivators on the subject.

Sorry for the mix up.

In reply to:

I will then put them in the incubator, a plastic rubbermaid conatiner sit on top of another container the same size with water , peroxide and a submersible aquarium heater in it.

I dont understand that sentanec for some reason, but if you're saying you're going to have the jars in warm water and peroxide, yah, that will work. Make sure you have some blankets around it, so it stays insulated.

a) Ambient temp should be 86F.
b) Until they are done, you'll see the white mycelium cover the entire jar.
c) 3-6 days. It will start out light and hard to see. Then it will start getting bright white
d) When they are @ 100% colonization! Might want to wait 3 days or so afterwards to ensure full colonization of the center of the cake
e) Just leave it closed. Air circulation is not an issue

> Ambient temp should be 86F.

I would actually drop this a few degrees. The mycelium produces some heat while growing. The more substrate, the more excess heat produced. You want the center of the substrate to be 86F for cubensis mycelium, not the ambient air temp. The ambient air temp will always be a bit cooler than the centers of the substrate.
