Well, I'm sitting here on the computer because I got kicked out of school for the day for mouthing off to one of my teachers.  :rolleyes: 

One of my ex's moved back to my hometown...etc..

Maybe some people dont need lots of cash, what would be wrong with an artist or philosopher, living in your old town??? Is it REALLY that BAD? No one could enjoy it??? I have lived lots of different places, and I almost always laugh when people say there is nothing to do etc, because while I like the big city , and what it can offer, small towns can be great for numerous reasons. And does everyone need a fucking mall and an arcade etc to have fun these days? What about hiking and dirt bikes, jamming , mushroom picking, hell even sports :smile:

I know which kind of town you are talking about Randal. I went to high school in a similar town, and quite a few of the graduates are stuck there. I personally couldn't stand it there. The fact that it was pretty much in the middle of the desert didn't really help much either.

At first I was semi-depressed for them, but I realized that they screwed themselves over in many, many ways. I guess they will just have to live with it.

The teacher wanted me to completely redo two pieces of conduit that were running in between some boxes.  I had spent a good two hours doing the work, it looked nice, and it was all up to code.  But he bitched because he wanted one of the runs nearer to something (even though it was not a code violation).  He told me to redo it and I ignored him.  He told me again and I started to explain why I wouldn't do it.  He told me a last time and I rolled my eyes and gave him a nasty look.  Then I said in a real pissy voice, "Alright...where's my fucking screwdriver then".  He screamed, "First you argue with me and give me lip...then you swear in my class!  You're out for the day!"  So, I left.  :shrug:  Admittedly, I probably deserved to get kicked out for showing such an attitude and for not doing what he told me.

This isn't the first time he kicked me out.  The other time I leaned back in my chair and he has this rule how all four legs of a chair have to be on the ground at all times.  He said, "Get out."  On the way out I walked by him and said, "That's fucking stupid".  He said, "Go take it up with the director then".  I said, "Pfft...whatever".

It's not college. It's a technical school and it is an absolute joke. There are people in my class with ADD and Tourette's syndrome. There are others in the class who are borderline retarded. I wouldn't want any of these schmucks wiring my house up. Somebody gets kicked out of the class like every day.

Nothing wrong with letting your mind give into your id. I'm a vary gentle person but I often think vary violent things. Just thinking and enjoying somebody's pain and despair just makes you a sick person, not evil bastard. Acting on and creating pain would make you an asshole, at least that is what I think.

I grew up in a town like that. It was nice, beautiful actually, but there is a major lack of jobs, and meth keeps getting worse. I call my mother every weekend and it always seems somebody has robbed a drug store, or some kids were taken away from a meth house. When I go back to visit I feel the dread of the town on my shoulders, more then half the people walk around like they are zombies, walking around, breathing, and working but never realizing that they are alive. I got the fuck out of their the first chance I got (when I was 17).
