Fear
    #971837 - 10/18/02 08:14 AM (21 years, 5 months ago)

i have a group of friends ... 3 of us total. its pretty much the only group where its an exchange of concepts and what not, without being shut down. well i noticed that when we really hit a deep question i have this strong sense of fear and i notice the look of fear on thier faces, but we dont mention it

so i ask myself ... when do i get these feelings

when our crew philosophy hits something new to us ... when we talk about things that went against the teachings we was taught from day 1. god, the system, and reality

so is fear a flag of something new ... that should be taken as far as it can, WAKING UP or is it a flag of the wrong path, the warnings and 'i told you so' ?

or is it a combo?

your thoughts!

Its not easy to decompile your own brain, and reprogram what you have been taught. Dont let the programming win, remember there is nothing to fear except fear its self. Explore all possibilities and try not to be cornered by anthing.
As long as you ideas do not stem from predjadist or hate then anything goes.
I have kinda experienced the same thing except it was the realisation that the human race is on the verge of it own destruction or a new state of being.

I've noticed the same thing. We experience fear when we think certain thoughts. I say push past it, and realize there is nothing to fear but fear itself. Fear is the mind killer.

"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."

maybe fear is the wrong word. you get fear because its an incomprehensible thought. its scary not to understand something. especially when so much crazy things are going on right now and it all effects (affects?) you.

Fear is everything that makes you realize its real. Like a near death experience.

I think I know what you mean when it comes to fear, I know when im with my friends and something deep comes up, theres a brief silence and noone seems to want to say anything, but usually someone breaks the silence and says something. It's weird.

Fear is a SIGN.
I used to love exploring that, to become aware that there is nothing to fear of at all. Fear indicates something that needs a solution and for that it is nescessary to look behind fear by confronting it.
You are so lucky to have these good friends, so, by a community approach it is much easier to confront fear.
There is biig room for exploration beyond !

Embrace your fears. Do not let them stop you. They will get worse as you move deeper and deeper beyond the borders of what modern civilization thinks you should know.

And then one day, you will stand free.

deeply embedded childhood beliefs on god, faithfully preserved for years, and in an instant questioned and their falsities are shed light...

Fear / Shame / Tears are all possible emotional outcomes.

It's part of the deprogramming process.
