Like someone else said, I find it interesting, but most of the scars I've seen don't seem to heal well. THat is, you just can't get really defined lines through this method.

Wow, that is sick, but not wrong, just sick. It looks really cool, but is that how it will always look? Is there any inking involved? Will it fade away like my scars do? Wow, very intriguing. She has some balls, fer sure!

It's scarification (or maybe this specific technique has another name), and yeah, lots of people do stuff like this. It's not common like tattoo, but it's not like it's some brand new weird practice either.

Yeah, and tattoos were not that common 40 years ago... I can't wait until young teenage girls start scaring their bodies like this...

I admire art, and I totally agree with personal freedoms to do anything you want to yourself... But what the fuck?

Some people forget, or have no idea, that your skin is a very important organ, and probably shouldn't be "cut away" for art's sake. The possible infections and ramifications of doing this seem to outweigh any positives... not to mention long term effects...

To each his own I suppose.

yeah its called scarification... its not nearly as common as piercing or tattooing or even branding but if done properly its absolutely beautiful imo... funny thing is i've only ever met females that have had the nuts to have it done.... my favorite was a girl who had wings on her back

Damn i have never seen anybody go that extreme...

I have allot of tattoos, and friends who own, and work in tattoo shops, and have seen pictures of people doing this scarring type of body art, but never on this level. People pay to get branded, and scared because they think its a new form of art since allot of people are getting tatted these days..

You know what this reminds me of, this asshole who wanted to have a gunshot wound added to his body. So he paid a guy to fire a bullet into his shoulder, and give him a bullet hole. Body art is getting extreme these days.

I dont see how a cutting is any more a "ruin" of a back than if she got a tattoo. Do you think ink ruins skin? I think it's beautiful personally, but I would never have that done myself. Looks too painful to me - during and afterwards. I'd rather have ink than a scar, but that's just a personal preference.

If she was drunk, you would have seen a pool of blood on the floor. I'm into tattoing and have friends in the business, one of whom is doing implants, Placing surgical steel under the skin to make a 3d image. I'm thinking of getting horns. (not really)

check this shit out if you've never seen this practice in action, The pics aren't nearly as gory as the ones that started this thread. This guy is one of the best ( not my friend unfortunately )and he does some pretty wicked things.

The technique at the top of this thread is called skinning or scraping. Most "scarrification" is done via burning yo ass. Cattle style. Yippee ti yi yay
