mushroom tattoo

I'm thinking of getting a realistic black and grey tattoo of a patch of psilocybe mushrooms on my side. I want it to be life size, with multiple mushrooms at different stages of development. I'm a pretty good artist, myself, but I'm currently looking around for illustrations that might inspire me, or might be exactly what i want.
Where might I look? Anybody have any nice photos that could possibly be translated into a tattoo?

I care to discuss designs and such, mainly. I'd say my reasons behind it would matter most to.. me. Mushrooms are timeless and natural. They are the foundation of my spirituality, and possibly all human spirituality.

"Things like this"... you mean getting tattoos? Someone with lots of tattoos would be a better person to ask.

seems quite pedantic. I think it's safe to assume that a good number of posters on the shroomery have or at one time have had an affinity for mushrooms. So, perhaps that could be the reason for wanting the tattoo...hmmm..? :strokebeard:

I'm hoping the scars from my suicide attempts will be less visible under the tattoo..

I think I'm going to go with the Nintendo logo now though. Great idea.

Seriously though.. many of you grow and consume them right? Isn't it beautiful and exciting? Unlike so many things in life.

I wonder if there are any artistic photographers that have focused on these mushrooms. Send me links if you have any.

I'm thinking of getting a mushroom-esque rocket ship blasting of from my left leg with the cap being a smiley face

I'm debating how stupid it would look, but it's sure fun to think about

Realistically, I probably will get a mushroom tattoo at some point
