I hear the leg hurts like a bitch too.. especially around the outer calf
Regarding mushrooms in a tattoo.. who cares what other people perceive. It's a tattoo.. it's personal. Personally, I'd be proud to wear a nicely done mushroom on my skin for the rest of my life. Maybe with a pixie.

That's fine if you're ok with being a jobless hippie. But some of us actually want careers. That's one reason why both my tattoos are in places which are usually covered up(the other reason is so I can hide it from my parents).

starting from the lower leg its christ on the cross on the front being stabbed by the roman with the spear of destiny.
back calf area is the rear view of the cross with demons pulling on the nails and tormenting....
knee area is the 'hand of god' reaching for his son...which transforms into a glove being worn by an alien..then expands to (thigh)the cosmos with the embryo from 2001 odyssey along with some stuff we haven't got to yet, like my children in constellations( names are Orion and Griffin and if the third is a girl(we'll know next week) it will be Delilah)

Maybe not, but there are others who we may not want to see a drug-related tattoo. Besides, in the future you may decide to give up drugs, and regret still having a picture of a drug embedded in your skin. I'm not saying you necessarily will regret it, but it's a big gamble. Kind of like getting your favorite band's logo tattooed on you, only to find you can't stand that band anymore when you're 40.
Anyway, I don't have any big objections to drug tattoos. I just prefer more abstract, symbolic designs.
