 Tripping in nature or indoors?

So what do people think? On the one hand outside is so beautiful and peaceful but on the other hand indoors you can play music and you don't usually have to worry about other people. I do most of my trips indoors at night, but I definitely want to do more outdoor days.

Both are good for different reasons. But nature is really cool. Another thing cool is a historic site. Here there is an old fort from the 1850s...pretty cool to walk around...

You can combine the 2. Spend a bit indoors, then take a wander. OR take a whole bunch of tapes, cds etc with you and listen to it in the outdoors! Great stuff. Watch the skies in a field with good tunes. Highly rated.

For me Nature rules, but it all depends if you have a safe place to do it.
Since I go for a good trip indoors gets me down, it closes in to me.
I like to play in the forest and see the stars.

I like 'm both just as much...
sad enough there isn't much nature around here :/
and people tend to look kinda strange at ya when walking around while tripping hard. Kinda makes me uncomfortable.

I normally trip indoors and solo. I have found that it can be very refreshing. Outside can be great though. One of my best was at a glacial reminant in the mountians under a full moon.

for me, it depends on a few things. First and formost is weather. if it's a warm night, witha good moon and nice sky: out doors all the way, otherwise me and my trip buddy stay in and usually work on our music (yes I only have one trip buddy, my friend of 17 years now ) If I find my self tripping alone (which I dont do anymore) Out doors can be a bit overwhelming (I live out in the middle of nowhere) and I like the comfort and security of my studio.

Yea is nice to have a good trip buddy, I only have one also, and I feel I can go to the ends of the universe with him.

I never do one exclusively, always a combination of both.
In the summer its a blast to go float in the pool....close your eyes and you'll be taken far away

Do both... spend a part of your trip inside a single engine plane, then jump out and enjoy the view... just remeber to pull the chord on your parachute, if you brought one.

Guitar's can be fun while tripping even for non-players(although you may annoy your partners), a good time in my early tripping days on the guitar is a big part of the reason I picked one up with intentions of really getting good, easier intstruemnts are even more fun cause it takes alot less to make impressive music, like say a djembe, didgeridoo, pan flute, native american flute, harmonica, ect. all sorts of em!,.
As for the original topic, I'd have to choose outdoors over indoors although its more risky, alot less comfort of not being caught and having a safety barrier, but so much is added, indoors I just crack my brain wide open and end up on a huge introspective trip that stairs directly into my mind, not what I'm always looking for.

tripping out doors is just always very strange, although tripping indoors is strange also, but tripping out doors is like sensing the strangeness of nature, while tripping indoors is like noticing the strangeness of you house, family, immediate lifestyle, so all in all , I reccomend both. I mean are you really going to stay outside and trip the whole trip? or are you going to be at both places, so the real question is are you going to dose outside or inside. Because I doubt you will just stay in one spot.

For me, nature all the way, indoors is so overwhelming, for me though...But outdoors is so much more natural, almost perfect when your on shrooms, just like buddy on here said:

Your trip manifests itself from the subtle vibrations around you. Vibrations that you don't normally pick up (while sober). They slowly magnify themselves in your brain once you\'re in the loop(mushrooms cause a recursive cascade of thoughts...the \"loop\"), and shoot off random fractal patterns of thoughts, colors and sounds.
When you are in nature, these vibrations are like the natural harmonics of the Earth, which are quite lovely, and pattern out nicely. Perfectly.
But, when you are surrounded by walls, and television and other technologies of mankind, these vibrations don't necessarily fit together in any particular way, causing more abrupt changes in thought, faster and more violent. The fractal pattern of thoughts becomes more chaotic than beautiful.
Love nature, man wasn't meant to be enclosed.

I love both. What me and my buddies often do is, eat our mushrooms at around 7-8 pm and stay outside walk on a trail or park, and later on go in and chill out. I love doing this makes the trip feel longer and more fun!

I love out-door daytime solo LSD trips. I find people are really not that much of an issue. The way I figure it - in 'sober' life, 99.9% of the time people just ignore eachother anyway when walking along trails / through parks / etc, why would it be any different while tripping?
I just put on my ipod, find a 'quiet' part of the trails / parks / whatever and keep to myself.
