Nature definetly! And between night and day, I prefer night. Dunno why, the darkness seems to draw me in. I wonder if theres more to that than I realize.

unless you're in an absolute great setting (not too cold, not too hot, not too many people) i'd mix it up. tripping at home i can play my guitar, listen to music, then go outside. i think spring is the best time.. watching the sunrise.

Actually, I *LOVED* tripping on a really, really, really hot day while outside. I think it was 34 and humid as all hell - feeling the sun, the heat, feeling my body sweat and work, it made me feel SO damn alive to be outside running around, climbing hills, exploring trails. Mind you, by the end of the trip I was starting to get a bit of a headache from being in the sun/heat all day and getting rather dehydrated despite the fact I was chugging back water like it was going out of style.
However, I find with LSD, due to the length of the trip, it is usually a combonation of indoor / outdoor tripping. I usually drop inside, wait for the comeup, then venture outside for a few hours, then come in near the tail end of the 'peak'. Relax, shower, unwind a little bit (I love sitting in a warm bath with the lights off), get out, dry off, listen to music / space out in a way that you cant really do outdoors, then at some point I'll typically venture back outside for another hour or two.

Never do I trip outside during the day, but it is fun to walk around at night when it is cold tripping balls. I did it once on a full moon with some friends who were drunk and it was the best. Down here in FL when I trip during the day it gets to hot.

Outdoors all the way for me. Everytime i am inside i feel like I am not being inspired by anything. Although visuals i find are better inside but outside you feel so much energy from nature. I enjoy day and night time trips outside. They both have their purposes. But rarely, if ever, do I trip inside anymore.

I find that the outdoor visuals, while different in nature from visuals indoors, are mind-meltingly beautiful in ways that indoor ones are not. Inside, things seem to be more surreal and lodged in the realm of fantasy, while outdoors seem to be amplfying the beauty of nature in a more real way.

indoors and outdoors....luv em both. for different reasons, and at different times....its all good. personally, nature means as lot to me, so being outside is my preference.
