Jar Prepping Question

Hey all
About to do up some BRF and Verm jars, but I have a couple questions first.

I was wondering if you could put the verm in a coffe grinder or whatever first because the way it is now the verm doesn't mix well at all with the brown rice flour.

And does anyone have any recipes that work better for substrate?

The vermaculite holds the moisture, blending it into powder might inhibit that.
Just mix the vermaculite and brf then add water and mix it more, it all kinda sticks together and mixes just fine. Check out the grow/find section, I think they have other substrates.
