Who wants to hook me up with a sweet deal on some grow-bags? My target goal is $10 (per bag)after shipping on 20 bags at a time for bags that will produce (on average)2 dry Oz. (combined, multiple flushes)
I'm pretty darn close to sporeworks, they're my best bet as far as shipping is concerned, and they have a deal on myco environment bags 20 @ $10 each.
What's the yeild range on myco environment bags?
Alternatitively, who has made their own grow bags from FP bags, and how did you do it?
Straight grain, or grain to compost? I can get a pretty sweet deal on some good worm castings, $1 a pound.

listen to waht you are saying-you want grow bags that will produce 2 oz dry-there is really no way of knowing whether or not a bag will produce 2 oz dry or not-is there?sounds like to me you want an easy way out,without having to actually learn to grow shrooms-

I know hippie sez a 1/2 pint PF jar should produce 6-7 dry grams FAIRLY consistently.
Besides, there's no faster way to learn than to just say stupid things... You should know that by now. I've read a few of your posts

--tis in ideal or near semi-ideal conditions perhaps. This amount is over the entire lifetime of the cake, granted contamination does not set in. If your conditions are not ideal you will likely experience contamination after the first or second flush. Its really not an economical way to grow.
On a side note, I don't mean to sound like a skeptic and all but 2dry oz's from 1 myco-bag or similar, Me don't think its gonna happen. Not enough substrate in the bags to produce that great of a yeild. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe its amazing grain!
Also are you saying you want to be a distributer of myco-bags or are you admitting to having plans to set up a drug dealing operation. If the latter is true, I'm glad I don't live near you. Its one thing to do it, its another thing to admit it in an open forum where police and federal agents do frequent.

I understand that 6-7g is for people who specialize in the hippie tek and have become expert at it. 4g per jar is good for a noob.
Actually I meant what I said about becoming a distributor literally, not as a euphemism for dealing.
I would even report the income on my taxes.
Ideally, I won't even be growing my own. I'll just give someone a free one if they split it with me.
I don't expect to make a living at it. Some extra change maybe, but mostly because I'd just like to see more of it about. It makes the world a more interesting place IMHO.

i don't think i said that...if you want real averages it's more like 4-5 dry per 1/2 pint, you can get 6 every now and then but it's not exactly standard, lots of people inflate their yields.

So why do you think there is such variability from one bag to another?
I might be better off just making up PF jars for them. It would probably make it easier for them to make the transition to doing it themselves. Unless they're too lazy, then they can just keep paying me $5 a jar.

I like the hippie tek because it takes up almost no space and is easy to hide. How much improvement is there really in birthing the cakes into a terrarium or casing?
