Lisa Gerrard & Pieter Bourke - Sacrifice
From the album: The Insider - Music From The Motion Picture

for those of you that don't know lisa gerrard, she sings in a group called Dead Can Dance.

if you check out this song, turn it way up and check out the whole thing. the dynamics are amazing in it... and something about the last minute and 30 seconds of it reminds me of edward scissorhands.

Check out Neurosis or Cult of Luna. Isis too, but to a lesser extent. not quite as emotional.

Try Finland by Cult of Luna, specifically. I think it's on their myspace, just go there.

I dont think it is possible to listen to an entire album without brandishing a razor blade.
