Easy and Ghetto Automation

so im leaving out of town for 10 days, and i hate monotubs, so i decied to set up a cheap automated terrarium for the days im away.

i took my 3 colonized bags,

via Wronguys Recipe and divided them into 6 glad containers lined with foil. i put the lids back on for a few days to let them reknit, then i birthed them without a casing layer into this:

i hooked a coolmist up to a 33gal tub. i cut a hole on the opposite side near the bottom for an air output. then i covered with saran wrap, classy, i know.
there are easy ways to adjust humidty until you get it right (droplets on walls). i stuff the output hole with polyfil, but this was almost too humid. i had to bring it down a bit so I cut slits in the saranwrap and taped them shut with micropore tape. cut slits until youre getting the level you want.

the coolmist is run on a timer, 1hrs ON/3hrs OFF. plenty of air exchange for a small terrarium.
also, i mounted light over it to run 12on/12off. it seems to be working just fine, with no intervention on my part.

Brazilian strain.

running on and off like that means the coolmist wont run out of water for about 10-12 days.

next to a monotub, this is the closest ive seen to full automation, but with much more FAE.
