How much should I eat...

My friend just met this guy at his work and he is hooking us up with some shrooms grown from a kit. He is selling us his last 1/4 for $30. He said he ate 3 caps and was pretty damn out of his mind....my friend trusts this guy, and he has no reason not to....I wouldn't expect this guys to be bogus considering they work together. My friend is generously letting me have the entire 1/4 since he's not into tripping...though he said he might might want some maybe....anyway my question is....

There is a BIG out door night party comming up soon and I want to eat my shrooms then. I was just wondering....what would be a good amount to eat out of the 1/4 to isnure I have an awesome trip....I guess what I'm asking is, what is the general amount that SHOULD make someone trip very nicely.

Eat alll of it.. But not at the party... But 2g is a good stable amount for most people.. Partys arnt too much fun while shroomin in my experiance.

Parties + Shrooms = A terrible idea. From personal experience. Read my thread in case you don't know.

Depends how you define "tripping nicely". Do you just want euphoria, that warm fuzzy feeling, a little healthy mindfuck, or do you want to see Green elfs dancing on the walls? I'd stick somewhere in between 2 and 4 grams, at that range, everythings still there and you can "direct" the trip in the way you want it to go.

That's ridiculious. The fact that YOU don't like the combination doesn't mean that others won't. It's all an issue of what you're comfortable with. Perhaps you like to act like a complete psycho when you're shrooming and see how odd you can act before people realize you're tripping. Perhaps a party would be a perfect atmosphere for such things..

Alcohol + shrooms = not really a good thing. Not the effects of it so much (I downed about a dozen shots while tripping 3 grams, didn't feel a bloody thing, but how it affects people around you. I really don't like to see a bunch of people stumbling around mumbling about things like morons. BTW, that said dozen shots was at a party, MY party, no less, so I should know what I'm talking about.

Again, I'm going to have to say that this is a personal thing; certainly not applicable to EVERYONE.

Personally, I think parties + shrooms are awesome together.
Drunk people are fucking hilarious to me on mushrooms.
Of course, the people have to be good people..

Don't pay $30 for that much...

1/4 ounce (approx 7 grams) of wet shrooms = approx 0.7 grams dry

$30 for 0.7 grams is the worst rip-off of the century. If it's wet tell the guy to go fuck himself.

It is true that a good majority of the more experienced mushroom users wouldnt waist such a seriously altered state at a party.

It all depends on what you want from your mushrooms. If you have never taken them before, it all depends on what you expect from them at the "party".... You could get just what you asked for....
rrrrrrrrrreal fucking high on drugs......and enjoying yourself for whatever reason.

I room full of people that are tripping can be fun, and is a whole different story. So I personally dont mind it when most of the people around me are atleast meeting me half way. Same goes for acid. Even if that was the case, Id rather be alone. There are very few people I know who experience mushrooms in the same way I do.
Most people, even when spun bore the shit out of me and sort of annoy me, so I might as well be watching tv or doing something that gets in the way of the trips potential even more so.

There are those who trip for simple kicks, and there are others that are very serious about it and tend to really get down and dirty with the complex nature of the experience. Im lucky if I find someone who is just right inbetween the two.
To this day I have met only one person that really seems to gel with me when tripping. By gel I mean, we feel like the same person, and we never stop talking. When we do stop talking it serves a function within the trip. We just get eachother more and more enveloped in the full potential of the trip. We get eachother high, even feel like we are sort of lving for a short time in a realm that allows for "magic"........

So ya, Im that guy who trips alone almost all the time.
