The eternal adventure

First, there is reality, and it consists of many undesirable things, like stress, fear, work, school, oppression, mortality, illness, death. It seems hard and we writhe under its grip. We seek escape into temporary realms of sanctuary generated by television, alcohol, drugs, fantasy.
Then our seeking to escape leads us to become aware of numerous side realities of multiple perceptual modes. Embracing the way of the mind-modifier, we soon familiarize ourselves with some of these realms and there inhabitants. Seeking yet more liberation techniques, we study lucid dreaming and strange spiritual activities.
Soon reality seems not so much as an inescapable fact but rather as one dream among many, perhaps even the least enjoyable. All that is constant is dreaming and our own presence as the dreamer.
And so we begin to flirt with solipsism, all if within, its all just a dream, so row row row merrily down the stream.
And this leads us to increase our own power, to accept responsibility for our selves and our situation , for if it is all our dream, then any inadequacy in it originates within. We become sorcerors, sure of our limitless influence. We develop, we grow, but we becoming increasingly ungrounded.
Then, filling ourselves with energy, the waking life itself begins to seem dreamlike, psychedelic. We become aware of impossible synchronicities, small miracles, strange and eerie phenomenon in all states of awareness.
Hopefully, at this point, we are rescued by love. WE meet someone who gets past all our defenses and forces us to engage at the deepest level. We are deeply and truly in love, and suddenly the happiness of another becomes at least as important as are own. Experiening this fusion of equals, it finally strikes us that we are not alone, that there are many, many other dreamers here, and the true glory of creation lies not in being all powerful and alone, but in being vulnerable, being together, being in relationship to our fellow spirits.
And being thus opened by love, and made aware of the true power and reality of it, we begin to intuit and then to realize the source and creator of all love, and the constant shower of love that is bestowed from our invisible creator who indwells everywhere and resides behind our own eyes.
And opening communication lines to this supreme being, we begin to transcend all traditional modes of learning, and a steady stream of the purest and most usefull information is supplied from our own resident angel, our own god-envoy, our own fragment of divinity. And at last we are so overwhelmed by goodness that we submit absolutely, we prostate ourselves on the ground and pray for salvation, we pray for the holy spirit to fill us, we pray for an intimate relationship with our father.
And then all our prayers are answered, and the world is transformed, and our true journey begins, an immortal adventure that takes us across many lifetimes and beyond the confines of space, to our ultimate goal of standing face to face with the most high, and being known by him, and knowing him, and finally surrender to an infinity of light and love.
I love you all.
No one Walks alone.

I hope so.
I really do.
"common" people have strange vibes .... it might be because i drank kava, went to bed at 5 a.m. and got up at 11 and still felt an afterbuzz but..... my defenses are very sour, untrusting, cynical, judgemental. meditation can definitely thwart them though.... but meditation is a solitary activity

Om Namah Shivaya, I tell you What!

I have achieved many different levels of LOVE with people, both family, woman, and friends.
But most importantly I have reached that LOVE you speak of, and it is quite a journey an adventure and a TRIP.
I love everything I read in this except towards the end it seems a little religous to me.
Thank you for this
1 love

man LOVE is so important.
how do you REALLY tune into the frequency and be nourished in it? I want to. There is so much suffering and the first noble truth rings so true, that the only thing you can do is love without judgement no matter who

how do you tune in? i dont know if i can answer that, although i deeply wish i could. The experience of this love is most definetly a progressive one. Just when you think youve "finally found it" you become aware of a whole new level of it that quite eclipses what you momentarily thought was its ultimate expression. It is a fractal experience, meaning it is infinite in its levels but constant in its perfection.
All i can offer are three general keys that have helped me and which constantly apply to my situation in new ways.
1. Open up 2. Be here now 3. Let go
i wish i could help more. I also believe strongly that the loving god is responsive to genuine prayer. Pray for love, pray to be filled with the holy spirit, pray and tell god that you are ready for him. He WILL respond.
Believe it or not, it is not god who denies us love but us who deny god.
And remember! What you seek you already have. What you want was given to your before you concieved of it. The lord knows your heart before you do. All rivers flow to the ocean, and no child of god is ever lost.
In other words: you are perfectly safe.
So relax

I miss my cat, and I miss her when she was a kitten as well. Youth is so wonderful from the outside perspective
Great post.

All of this for "comfort", for air conditioning, for not having to "work" for food; and they make it so difficult to give it up by taking land and claiming it as theirs and no one elses...ain't society grand?
