super casing problem

there is this casing, of ecudors, and its growth is too strong, i cant get it to pin. it keeps growing over the casing top over night or so, i then deep scratch it, cold shock it replace the casing layer, make it deeper and it just keeps growing,
and more drastic measures?

You probably didn't have a thick enough casing layer.

1/4" of casing per 1" of substrate.

As soon as you see the white breaking through the casing layer.....initiate fruiting.

I only got overlay once.... It was cause i used too small a casing layer.
I recased it with the right amount and it was fine after that.

Plus i read everything Anno says about casing....lolz

yeah, i have increased the size of the layer and it is still growing over.... i dont know, i would just love to see some pins, if it fruits half as agresively as it grows, it would be wonderful

jiffy mix 50/50 is the casing, its the right depth and all..
